On August 30, 2021 the Minister of Education and Science commissioned the Lublin University of Technology to implement the task “Establishment and coordination of the activities of the Polish Metrological Union (PMU)”.

 

 

The PMU’s key objectives include:

  • integrating metrological communities;
  • developing interinstitutional cooperation networks;
  • acquiring national and international research grants;
  • promoting state-of-art solutions and innovations in the field of metrology;
  • organising seminars, symposiums, conferences and congresses;
  • setting new directions in metrology development;
  • enlisting cooperation with industry in the field of metrology;
  • supporting and promoting implementation doctorates;
  •  stimulating metrology staff development.
